Fishback Center for Early Childhood Education Preschool Program Information Ages of Children Served The Fishback Center for Early Childhood Education serves children from ages 15 months to 6 years old under three programs, the SDSU Laboratory Preschool, the SDSU Laboratory Kindergarten, and the SDSU Out of School Time Program. It has the capacity of serving a total of 140 children.
SDSU Laboratory Preschool Program Toddler Program: The Younger Morning Toddler Session serves 10 toddlers who are 15 to 24 months old. The Older Morning Toddler Session serves 12 toddlers who are 24 to 36 months old. Preschool Program: The Three & Four Year Old Morning Session serves 17 preschoolers who turn four some time during the 2006-2007 school year. The Four & Five Year Old Morning Session serves 19 preschoolers who turn five some time during the 2006-2007 school year. The Mixed Age Afternoon Session serves 17 preschoolers who are between the ages of three and five during the 2006-2007 school year. The Four & Five Year Old Afternoon Session serves 19 preschoolers who turn five some time during the 2006-2007 school year.
SDSU Laboratory Kindergarten Program: The SDSU Laboratory Kindergarten Program serves 22 children who are enrolled in the Brookings School District and whose parents have selected the Fishback Center for Early Childhood Education as their choice for educational placement.
SDSU Out of School Time Program: The SDSU Out of School Time Program is available for the families of the 22 children enrolled in the SDSU Laboratory Kindergarten and their elementary-aged siblings. |
